Martin Jeffries planned to spend the money on a new kitchen. Then the opportunity to own a TVR Sagaris appeared. What followed was a missed first chance, a catastrophic Speed Six engine failure, a complete rebuild—and an enduring relationship with one of Britain’s most uncompromising sports cars. The Kitchen Can Wait is a short automotive documentary from Local Content Studio. Martin tells the story of finding his Lamborghini Arancio Atlas Sagaris, why he chose to rebuild it rather than walk away, and how the car introduced him to Sagaris designer Graham Browne. He also shares the real story behind the Sagaris bonnet vents, Jeremy Clarkson’s famous windscreen explanation and the unexpectedly simple idea that produced its Perspex rear spoiler. We make films about remarkable cars and the people behind them. If your car has a story worth telling, we’d like to hear it.
