Matlacha Florida Fishing! 23” Speckled Trout

Come fishing with me in Matlacha, Florida, for a day of inshore fishing around mangroves, oyster bars, and grass flats! 🎣 As the weather starts to cool down, speckled trout are moving back onto the flats, and I’m out looking for some Florida inshore fishing action. The highlight of the trip was landing a *23-inch speckled sea trout* — possibly my personal best Florida trout! I also caught a couple of hard-fighting jacks along the way. I put several Salt Strong lures to the test on this trip, including the **Moonwalker, Flea Flicker, and Polk County Tweaker**. We worked the mangrove shorelines, oyster bars, and shallow grass flats to see what was biting as fall fishing conditions start to change.
