Featherstone Castle is a Grade I listed Gothic-style country mansion on the bank of the River South Tyne near Haltwhistle in Northumberland, England, while the adjacent Featherstone Park (Camp 18) was one of Britain’s largest World War II prisoner-of-war camps. Features of the camp included: a bakery, theatre, library, chapel, classrooms, and three orchestras.
