A gathering of villagers and AAP leaders was held at the Cuncolim Police Station, alleging inaction in the assault on Gerson Gomes, reportedly involving BJP worker Malcom Pereira. AAP President Valmiki Naik alleged that in several incidents over the past few years involving attacks on activists and political leaders, the government has been seen shielding the accused.
