Synopsis - Set against the backdrop of social inequality and youth disillusionment, 36 Yards is a dark comedy thriller that explores the absurd collision of two contrasting worlds.On a desolate road, the lives of four desperate youths intertwine. Kathir and Rooney are transporting a highly valuable, illicit package to escape their financial struggles. However, a trap set by Ibru and Kasi—two marginalized teens seeking validation through petty crimes—causes a crash that shifts the power dynamics. When the valuable package changes hands, it drags all of them into the perilous crosshairs of a ruthless local gangster.While the adults engage in a frantic, greed-driven race for survival and power, a parallel struggle unfolds: Ibru’s younger brother, Judy, is fighting for a denied penalty kick on a local football ground with no drawn boundaries. Ultimately, the child's innocent quest for justice and fairness unwittingly intersects with the chaotic, corrupt world of the adults, leading to an unpredictable climax that silently mocks the very foundation of human greed.
