"We'll Meet Again" - (Vera Lynn) - Cover by Becky Foster

"We'll Meet Again" - (Vera Lynn) - Cover by Becky Foster Written by Ross Parker and Hughie Charles This famous World War era song was first introduced to me by my father. My love for music from this era and beyond all comes from him; my hero, my biggest fan, my inspiration. Tragically losing my dad this September has been by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. As I try to mend a very shattered spirit and heart, I wanted to tribute this favorite tune of his for his birthday, wearing his hat for added comfort. Love you dad with my everything; and even though you can’t share my new music with your many friends and patients, like you usually so cutely did, I bet you’ve rallied a whole cheer squad in heaven. Can’t wait to be together again, singing epic duets and playing the coolest heavenly instruments with you. Tell them I won't be long They'll be happy to know That as you saw me go I was singing this song We'll meet again Don't know where Don't know when But I know we'll meet again some sunny day We'll meet again Don't know where Don't know when But I know we'll meet again some sunny day Keep smiling through Just like you always do 'Til the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away So will you please say "Hello" To the folks that I know?
