Picking up at the edge of The Desiccated Castle, Glimmer presses through the abandoned ruin until he reaches a tense stealth sequence, forced to hide from the sweeping beams of the Queen's light. As the sequence ends, Glimmer witnesses Looter — a shopkeeper NPC — captured by the Queen's forces. Pressing on, Glimmer soon gains the Hover ability, opening up a wealth of new movement options. Teleporting to the Midnight Garden, he visits a spa built by a grateful frog, still searching for others of his kind after the rescue in The Drains. With Hover in hand, Glimmer backtracks through both the Midnight Garden and the Hunter's Cabin to reach previously inaccessible areas, and clearing both regions opens the door to the Autumn Forest — where the story picks up next episode.
