Our road trip almost ended at the US border... 😬 We're a Venezuelan (with Chilean citizenship) and a Filipina (now Canadian) living in Vancouver, and for her birthday we decided to take a quick midweek road trip across the border into Washington State. The plan: discover two small towns we'd never visited, La Conner and Anacortes. But first, we had to get past a border officer who had A LOT of questions... and I suddenly couldn't remember anything.
