Measure the width of your spine. Step 2. Divide that number in half (to get the middle point of the spine). Step 3. If you're making a 1 signature journal, your signature will sit along this middle point. If you're making a 2 signature journal, mark 1 cm to the left of the middle and 1 cm to the right. This is where you'll punch your holes. If you're making a 3 signature journal, you'll need to punch your holes in the middle, left and right.
