Switzerland Day 8 | Gornergrat & Riffelsee | Matterhorn Reflection, Swiss Alps & Cheese Fondue

Join us for a day exploring Gornergrat, one of Switzerland’s most scenic mountain destinations! 🏔️ We took the famous Gornergrat Railway from Zermatt up to 3,089 metres, where we enjoyed panoramic views of the iconic Matterhorn, massive glaciers and the surrounding Swiss Alps. We also visited Zooom the Matterhorn for a fun VR experience! But surprisingly, my favourite part of the day wasn't the mountain summit or the glaciers. It was the beautiful Riffelsee Lake, surrounded by Alpine flowers. We were incredibly lucky to catch a few precious minutes of the Matterhorn reflecting perfectly on the lake! 🌼 We also hiked from Gornergrat towards Rotenboden. Although the scenery wasn't much different from what we had already seen, the strong wind and freezing temperatures made the walk quite challenging. Thanks to Jackson for encouraging me to keep going!
