Find My Family - Charlie

November is Adoption Awareness and Orphan Awareness month. We have spent a lot of time working with and advocating for orphans over the last two years. So this for November we are sharing a video about 1 child that is still waiting for their family to find them. Charlie is a five-year-old boy who is blind. He’s been with us at Bethel for almost three years. He is very cute and funny and he likes it when grown ups play with him. His favorite game to play is hide-and-seek. He hides behind the door and giggles the whole time. Because he’s blind, he doesn’t realize that the grown-upscan see him. It’s really cute! Charlie enjoys spinning, playing with balls, jumping and running around outside. He has really good balance and he loves to climb. He sometimes scares his teacher because every time she turns around he is climbing something new—but he never, ever falls! Charlie isn’t verbal, but he can do some signs to express his needs. Whenever he learns something new, he claps and smiles for himself. We hope that he can have a family who will cheer him on for every new accomplishment!
