How to replace a euro cylinder lock when the door is in the closed / locked position. When the security screen door is closed / locked and you have lost your keys or maybe your lock itself is faulty you will need to remove the euro cylinder lock in order to open the door and replace the lock. This is a very common problem with security screen doors in which people feel helpless and are therefore required to spend a lot of money for the services of a locksmith. When the door is in the closed / locked position access to the locking screw which holds the euro cylinder in place is not accessible and therefore the easiest way is to snap the lock as i show you in the video.
