Rato Machindranath Jatra (bunga dyah jatra) is a Nepalese longest celebrated chariot festival which is held in Lalitpur, Nepal. The festival is dedicated to Bunga Dyah who is also known as Karunamaya (the God of compassion ), an aspect of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara and is popularly believed to bring the monsoon rains. He is also identified as an aspect of the Hindu saint Machhindranatha.
