The original pivot system can be improved, so I decided to create my own custom pivot mechanism for the Sytools Beast to make the sharpening rod movement smoother, more precise and more convenient to use. You will see the complete process of this DIY knife sharpener upgrade, from the idea and construction of the custom pivot mechanism to installing it on the Sytools Beast and testing the finished modification.
