This video is a collaboration with ‪@SirVaros‬ to create edits of what happened in Southeast Asia between the 1970s and 1980s. His video about wars and conflict is really fire though so y'all should check it out:    • Proxy Bloodbath |•| South East Asia, 1970s...   Alright, so after the horrific 1970s, Southeast Asia saw many changes in terms of both economic and political aspects. For example, Vietnam started a new capitalist economy, Burma saw quite a few protests to demand more freedom and democracy, Cambodia started its own revival, Singapore started to become a global hub, and Brunei began to become crazy rich. Conflicts still happen though, but overall isn't as bad as in the previous decades, and the solidarity of ASEAN started to form. Btw, sorry for any Laotian viewers here since I can't find any decent footage of Laos in the 1980s, probably because of the ridiculous search engine in Vietnam currently. Alright, can y'all just stop reporting this tiny channel? I already got 2 reports since some people decided that history is racist and hate black Africans, how pity.
