THE HIGHWAY, When God Shows You the Way

I was just sitting here when I saw it in my mind, a massive freeway, almost like San Francisco on MAJOR steroids! I was like Ok Lord. Roads everywhere. Exits, loops, overpasses stacked above one another, and vehicles moving in every direction. I looked at it and thought, “Okay, Lord… what in the world are You showing me?” Then I heard and felt this in my spirit “Only the ones who are holding on to Me and following My direction can navigate all of this.” And WOW..... I understood..... The highway represented our lives. So many roads. So many choices. So many exits. So many directions. And everybody is moving. Everybody thinks they're going somewhere. But without God, we can spend our entire lives moving and still be lost. We can take exit after exit, make decision after decision, and end up circling the same loops over and over again, thinking we're making progress simply because we're moving. But movement isn't the same thing as direction. And speed isn't the same thing as progress. Sometimes we don't need another road, another plan, or another answer. We need the One who knows where every road leads. “Thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it.” Isaiah 30:21 Lord, thank You for showing me this. Thank You for reminding me that I don't have to understand every road ahead of me. I don't have to see every exit or know every turn. I just need to hold on to You. Because without You, Lord, I'm lost. Completely lost. But with You, even on the biggest, craziest, most complicated highway I've ever seen... I know the way home.
