Discovery 3 fix EP3, Upgrade Euro 7 pin to 13 pin trailer connector using a kit, Land Rover

Improve and update your Land Rover Discovery 3 to the newer Euro 13 pin trailer connector plug giving improved functionality and reliability. This video is designed for a beginner D3 owner who is just starting to realise how handy they will have to become if they are to keep this thing running effectively. This is a fiddly but essentially 'plug and play' straight forward task. The video offers step by step guidance and highlights some difficulties found along the way. Any suggestions or errors you note please comment and I will add them here Note;- I forgot to show cable ties going onto the wiring which must be done to keep it clear of the exhaust pipes. Note;- the final orientation chosen in my case for the 13 pin socket in the bumper recess was with the lid opening towards the 7 0’clock position. I used the original holes to screw it on. I also had to grind about 4mm off the bottom of the steel in the bumper recess.
