What happens when a Nairobi family leaves the city behind and spends 3 amazing weeks in the village? 🌿❤️ In August, we packed up and travelled from Nairobi to the village for a much-needed family break. What started as a simple visit turned into an unforgettable 3-week village experience filled with family, fresh air, outdoor activities, farming, responsibilities, laughter and quality time together. The kids quickly settled into village life — helping with cleaning, watering plants, planting flowers and enjoying the freedom of being outdoors. 🌱🌺 They also got to visit their grandmother and experience a side of family life that is very different from the city. For us as parents, the village gave us something equally special: fresh air, peace, family time and even a little time to ourselves. ❤️ And there was another first — my wife drove to and from the village for the first time! 🚗 She absolutely loved the experience, making the journey back to Nairobi a special ending to our adventure. From the Nairobi road trip, settling into village life, visiting Mum, the kids taking responsibility, outdoor adventures and finally the journey back home — this video captures what made those three weeks so memorable.
