Cold Nights Threaten Giant Pumpkins

Cold temperatures rolled in fast this week, threatening the growth of our giant pumpkins. With highs in the upper 50s and lows dipping near 40°F, I had to act quickly to protect these massive pumpkins. In this update, I show how I used sleeping bags to shield the pumpkins overnight and kicked the fans back on each morning to dry things out.
