The AI refuses to share restricted data but its tool has already tried to export it. Did the system pass or fail? 🤖🔍
Welcome to “AI Red Teaming & Cybersecurity: Find the Failure, Prove the Risk.”
This 24-minute visual lesson introduces AI red teaming for LLM training and evaluation, then builds toward more demanding cybersecurity judgments.
Try 12 pause-and-choose challenges and two writing exercises. Inspect the evidence, make your decision, and compare it with the worked explanation.
🎯 YOU’LL LEARN TO
• Build controlled comparisons that test a clear question.
• Recognize direct and indirect prompt injection.
• Separate source information from instructions the assistant should follow.
• Check data exposure and tool-permission boundaries.
• Distinguish attempted actions from completed outcomes.
• Review defensive phishing questions and authentication logs.
• Handle missing visual evidence without guessing.
• Write clear evaluation criteria and findings.
• Prepare reviewed examples for training while keeping evaluation data separate.
🧩 EXPECT SOME TRICKY CASES
A model follows instructions inside a screenshot. Another refuses a harmless defensive task. An assistant accesses the wrong workspace. A final challenge combines a restricted dummy marker, an unapproved action attempt, and a control that successfully blocks publication.
Can you identify what failed and what worked?
⏸️ HOW TO USE THE LESSON
Pause at each challenge. Record your choice and the evidence behind it. Resume for the answer, explanation, and suggested repair.
CHAPTERS

02:40 Build a test you can explain
05:20 Trace the instruction source
09:20 Inspect the tool trace
12:40 Read cybersecurity evidence
16:00 Evaluate images and screenshots
18:40 Write a clear rubric and finding
21:20 Turn findings into training data
🎵 Music-only, read-along lesson with upbeat instrumental music and no spoken narration.
All scenarios, prompts, records, markers, counts, responses, and tool traces are original fictional teaching examples. Worked outcomes are simulated, rather than measured model performance or real security incidents. Background imagery is AI-generated. No private client or project procedures are included.
💬 Which case changed your first judgment? Explain the evidence in the comments.
