A Family in the New Mexico Desert Lost Everything to a Flash Flood — We Rebuilt Their Home

*A Family in the New Mexico Desert Lost Everything to a Flash Flood — We Rebuilt Their Home* No one in their family had ever seen the desert flood like this. Their adobe home had stood on that land for generations, built to survive drought, heat, and wind. The earth around it had always been dry. Then the rain came too fast for the ground to drink it in, and a wall of muddy water tore through the valley in minutes. A section of the house collapsed. The roof caved in on one corner. What had survived a hundred years of desert sun could not survive one night of rain. The family made it out with nothing but each other and a small stuffed animal their daughter refused to let go of. When we found them, we knew we could not walk away. Our team rebuilt their home from the foundation up — reinforcing it against future flooding, repairing the collapsed walls, and restoring the roof and structure their family had called home for generations. What started as a pile of mud and broken adobe became a home standing strong again, ready for the next generation. 🏜️🌧️ *In this video:* A family's generations-old adobe home destroyed by a desert flash flood Why even the driest land can flood in minutes A collapsed wall and caved-in roof Rebuilding the foundation to withstand future flooding Restoring the structure and roof from the ground up Before & After transformation A family's home, standing strong again ❤️ *The desert had never flooded like this before.
