Life Changes and Missing Home

Life changes don't always come with a clear roadmap. In this personal Still in the Saddle video, I share some thoughts about leaving my full-time job, waiting for a background check to begin a new part-time position, and looking forward to having more time to devote to Horse Source. I'm also reflecting on something that's been weighing on my heart: missing Washington. Although Colorado has been home for several years, I haven't found the same sense of community here that I had in the Northwest. I miss my family, longtime friends, and the wonderful team of people who helped make Northwest Horse Source what it is today. Washington is more than a place to me. It's where I built relationships, found encouragement, and developed a community that has been an important part of my life and business. Meanwhile, Chip and Chloe have their own ideas about filming! Between the wind and their frequent requests for treats and attention, this is an unscripted glimpse into everyday life with my horses. This recording is especially precious to me now, following the loss of my sweet Chloe in September 2026. I'm grateful to have these moments with her preserved. Thank you for being part of my journey.
