Ankylosaurus: The Unstoppable Living Tank

Would you bet on a T. rex going up against a six-ton walking fortress? 🦖🛡️ Ankylosaurus wasn't built to run or to hunt. It was built to be the one animal in the Cretaceous that wasn't worth the trouble. In this video, we look at how it pulled that off: 🔹 A skull that was basically a helmet, plus armored eyelids and bony rings protecting the neck 🔹 Armor made of bone and keratin, and why a bite had such a hard time getting through it 🔹 The tail club: how it was put together, how it may have swung, and the damage it could do to a predator's leg 🔹 What the fossils tell us, from CT scans to skin impressions and fossil footprints A note on the visuals: the battle scenes and simulations are AI-made reconstructions based on current fossil research. They're our best picture of what it might have looked like, not real footage. #Ankylosaurus #Dinosaurs #TRex #Prehistoric #WildVault
