Trains of Lansing - February 1-3 1992

A nice sunny winter weekend of railfanning in Mid Michigan. 1. GTW train 392 eastbound at the East Lansing station with a GP9R on the point. 2. A coil steel train westbound through East Lansing on the GT. 3. GTW train 393 right behind the steel train. 4. GTW train 2393 at the Red Cedar river crossing between East Lansing and Okemos. 5. Conrail southbound train LAAA (Lansing to Ann Arbor) at Larch street in Lansing, and again at Elm street in Mason. 6. Amtrak 356 at the historic station in Jackson MI. 7. A couple of Conrail engines in the yard at Jackson. 8. Amtrak 365 at Trowbridge. 9. CSX local D709 eastbound at Trowbridge with a pair of GEs and a caboose. They are passing under the southbound I-496 bridge. 10. CSX train 336 at Farm Lane in East Lansing. 11. GTW 239, the CN intermodal train at Harrison road. 12. Conrail LAAA at Elm street in Mason. 13. CP runthrough train 205 on CSX at Harrison road with CP & Soo Line engines.
