Police & Fire Respond To Mass Casualty At Preschool After Car Crashes Into Building In Glendale, CA. 8/7/26 The Glendale Fire Department and Police Department were dispatched to a car into a structure at 1222 N Pacific Ave around 1:55 PM. The call was quickly upgraded to a Mass Casualty call due to multiple injuries at the Preschool. Police and fire personnel from all over the city quickly responded to the scene and rendered aid to victims as well as worked on traffic control and crowd control. At least 8 people were injured including children, and multiple people were transported to the hospital. Parents were scene rushing to the scene, franticly trying to find their children. The elderly driver of the vehicle which crashed into two parked vehicles, plowed through a large metal gate, and then into the school had confused the gas pedal for the brake pedal. Luckily no fatal injuries were reported.
