Stream Setbacks https://song.link/ca/i/1568029605 On this record Dakota Bear tells the story of overcoming adversity and setbacks while leading the charge with a comeback. When speaking on the inspiration behind the song Dakota tells us: “Setbacks tells the story of overcoming loss, poverty, addictions and stereotyping. After conquering these plights, I was able to come back stronger. Having come out of this on the other side, me and my loved ones are living proof that this - and anything - can be overcome. With confidence, I now live my truth. We will continue to rise through the Setbacks.” - Dakota Bear “His story is critically important as it tells the truths of Indigenous history in Canada. His music is a reminder that although we are faced with so many challenges, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel and justice, unity and love is always the answer.” says celebrated Canadian broadcaster, Howard Mandshein.
