ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಡೆಡ್‌ ಎಂದು DKS ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇಕೆ? | Mangalore's Nightlife Debate: Why Is The City Dead After 7 PM?

Mangalore, the second-largest GST revenue-generating city in Karnataka after Bangalore, is known for its bustling trade, international airport, and prominent port. With seven medical colleges and over ten engineering colleges, Mangalore attracts students from across the country and the world. Despite this, the city faces a curious question: why does it seem "dead" after 7 PM? The issue was raised by Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar, who questioned why Mangalore lacks a vibrant nightlife. A discussion has begun about boosting tourism and providing more opportunities for night activities. The question arises: Is Mangalore's nightlife subdued due to political reasons, social conservatism, or is it part of the city’s cultural fabric? In this intriguing debate, leaders from various parties, including BJP's Jagadish Shenava, CPI(M)'s Muneer Katipalla, and Congress's Sadashiv Ullal, discuss how to overcome obstacles to make Mangalore a thriving metro city while retaining its identity. •••••••••• Trivarna News- ಸಮಗ್ರ ಸುದ್ದಿ- ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಕನ್ನಡ • Subscribe:    / @trivarnanewskannada   • Facebook:   / trivarnanews   • X:   / trivarnanews   • Instagram:   / trivarnanewskannada   •••••••••• ⚠️Disclaimer: The content in the video is for informational purposes only.
