“Are you bearing fruit for the kingdom?” When Boaz and Ruth married they became a symbol of the union of the church and Christ. They went on to bear a child which symbolized the communion required to bear fruit. It is the same in our lives, we form a union with Christ when we are saved and we go on to have communion with him in order to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God.
