Happiness is a Piece of Cake

Cake is possibly the biggest obsession of Audax cyclists. It could be a pre-packed bun at a service station, or, if you are lucky, the Women's Institute's finest are on hand to run one of the control points on your long distance endurance ride. Film maker Fergus Coyle captured the baked goods action at Doynton Village Hall, 85km into the Barry's Bristol Bash on 13 March. The WI team there have been feeding hungry cyclists as part of the event for 13 years (with a gap for Covid).
