Gallipoli at CTESIPHON - Sniper Class

Gallipoli stands out as Blackmill Games' most challenging FPS title within their esteemed WWI series. Its combat and movement mechanics are a difficult, confusing, irritating, yet ultimately satisfying experience. I'm only just beginning to overcome the initial learning curve. Consistent play would undoubtedly lead to rapid improvement, but due to time constraints, my progress will be slower, unfortunately. Sniper tactics may not be ideal for Gallipoli, as success hinges on aggressive objective play. While sniping can be fun, it often involves hanging back for long-range kills and avoiding artillery, air strikes, and mortar fire, which can lead to less satisfying gameplay. As a defender, I've rarely won, with most victories occurring on the attacking team. As I play Gallipoli, I'm reminded of a regiment officers orders before we bayonet charged the objective in the civil war game War of Rights. His name is General Cody & he told us, "You're gonna die a lot real quick, so be ready for that shit, it's not going to be nice" That quote sums up my expience in Gallipoli fairly accurately.
