[HOW-TO] Install and Configure Crux Linux UEFI -- what no one has really said!!!

The other day, I tried installing CRUX Linux—yeah, the “keep it simple” source-based distro—live on stream. Multiple attempts. All failed. Which, honestly, shouldn’t have surprised me, but did. I’ve been around long enough to remember when man pages actually told you what the flags did, and “installation guide” didn’t mean three vague lines and a dead wiki link. After that public trainwreck, I went back through the CRUX handbook, the mailing list archives, half-broken rsync mirror instructions, and every crusty blog post from 2004 that Google still insists is “relevant.” Armed with prt-get, Pkgfile, and the eternal hope that ports -u won’t explode this time, I’m taking another swing.
