Moving Forward: Book Review NICO About the Book: Nico is the real-life story of a young boy who suffers from Trisomy 18, a genetic condition that results in severe retardation of mental and physical growth. Cristiana, a single parent, relies on a group of well-wishers and sometimes charity organizations to raise funds for Nico's therapies and surgeries. This book is an effort to share Nico's story and build a movement to fund treatment through sharing real life stories, an approach that is promising. The author will present her success and challenges through her journey. Author and Presentor: Hema, the author and reviewer of the book, is a Senior Vice President at a large US bank and an author at heart penning stories since the age of 11. Her articles, opinions and stories have been published in leading dailies such as the Hindustan Times and The Times of India. Her professional articles/blogs have been published on PMI and Agile Atlas. Hema is an eloquent speaker, and she frequently shares her thoughts and ideas at Industry conferences.
