My Ultra Challenge 2024 - Ultra March

I took part in the first ever Ultra March in May 2024. Goal was to complete the 100km course within 24hrs. Walking only, no running allowed. It was tough, especially when slogging through the mud in pitch black at 2am. I’d go back and do it again though as it was also fun and the feeling when you finish something like this is amazing, not to mention the money raised to help a great cause. I met some great people on the route and in the end finished in 23 hours and 20 minutes! A really well organised event. I’d recommend anyone looking to do a distance walking or running challenge to start with one of these. They do different distances and routes, you don’t have to do 100km!
