What governs our choices? What keeps us bound to the world—and how do we find the clarity to act with freedom?
In the final part of IFAM Tales’ Bhagavad Gita cinematic journey, discover 24 selected slokas (Sequences 77–100), moving from the three guṇas and the inverted tree of existence through the qualities we cultivate, the nature of faith, renunciation, surrender and Arjuna’s renewed resolve.
THIS FINAL PART EXPLORES FIVE YOGAS
• Guna Traya Vibhaga Yoga — sattva, rajas and tamas: the three qualities that influence our nature.
• Purushottama Yoga — the inverted tree of existence and the Supreme beyond our changing world.
• Daivasura Sampad Vibhaga Yoga — divine and asuric tendencies expressed through human conduct.
• Shraddha Traya Vibhaga Yoga — the qualities of faith and how they shape our choices.
• Moksha Sannyasa Yoga — discernment, surrender, freedom from confusion and the completion of Arjuna’s journey.
KEY MOMENTS
• Bhagavad Gita 14.6–8 — understanding the three guṇas.
• Bhagavad Gita 15.1 — the extraordinary inverted aśvattha tree.
• Bhagavad Gita 16.3–4 — qualities that nurture or obstruct inner growth.
• Bhagavad Gita 18.66 — Krishna’s invitation to take refuge and not grieve.
• Bhagavad Gita 18.73 — Arjuna’s declaration that his doubts have disappeared.
• Bhagavad Gita 18.78 — Sanjaya’s closing affirmation of wisdom, action and righteousness.
This video concludes our four-part presentation of 100 selected Bhagavad Gita slokas;
it is not a complete recital of all 700 verses. The sloka recitals, English meanings and philosophical narration are presented in my own voice, with independently created cinematic visuals and background music.
A NOTE OF GRATITUDE — GHANTASALA
This series is lovingly inspired by the evergreen Bhagavad Gita rendition of legendary singer Ghantasala. My heartfelt gratitude for the musical and spiritual inspiration of his presentation. This IFAM Tales production is an independent interpretation. No audio or music from Ghantasala’s original recording is used.
