The Believer's True Identity || Dr. Abel Damina

What does the Bible mean when it says Christ is seated at the "right hand" of God? Why do believers and faith preachers still face physical sickness and mortality, and does that contradict the power of God? In this eye-opening sermon, Dr. Abel Damina delivers deep, foundational teaching from Psalm 110, Ephesians 1, and Romans 8. He unpacks the post-resurrection authority of Jesus Christ, demonstrating that the "right hand" is not a physical chair or deputy role, but supreme, absolute authority given to enforce salvation. Dr. Damina addresses real-world questions on human mortality, divine healing, taking care of your physical body, and how believers are sealed forever by the Holy Spirit. ⏱️ Timestamps 00:00 – Sufferings of Christ and the Glory to Follow (Luke 24 & 1 Peter 1) 01:45 – Psalm 110:1 Explained: "Sit at My Right Hand" 02:26 – What the "Right Hand" Really Means: Absolute Authority 05:12 – The Inseparable Union: "I in You, You in Me" (John 14–16) 08:00 – Acts 2: Exalted at the Right Hand & Shedding Forth the Spirit 09:25 – Philippians 2: The Name and Authority Above Every Name 11:55 – Hebrews: Our High Priest Seated on Majesty High 15:10 – The Purpose of Christ's Authority: "Till His Enemies Become His Footstool" 18:10 – Romans 8: You Are Not in the Flesh, But in the Spirit 19:35 – Power Wrought in Christ: God’s Power Saves, Never Destroys 22:55 – Sealed by the Holy Spirit: Security of the Believer 25:50 – The Spirit of Adoption (Galatians 4 & Romans 8) 28:55 – Ephesians 1: The Earnest and Seal of Our Inheritance 30:30 – Addressing Mortality, Faith Preachers & Physical Pain 33:45 – Practical Health, Wisdom & Caring for Your Mortal Body 36:00 – Permanent State: You Are Always in the Spirit 🔔 Subscribe to The Pure Word Stay anchored in sound doctrine, grace teachings, and the accurate knowledge of Christ.
