“I CHOSE ME” 🌍🇨🇺✍️ Author/Composer: Roberto Amey – Amey Flow

“I CHOSE ME” 🌍🇨🇺 “I Chose Me” was born from a simple truth: sometimes we stay where we are no longer chosen. Not because we're foolish, but because we're human. We loved, we waited, we dreamed, and we believed. But one day, something changes. You realize that love should never feel like begging for crumbs. Real love is given freely, shared freely, and chosen by two people. And that's when you finally say: “If you don't choose me… I CHOOSE ME.” I wanted this story to feel like freedom, not heartbreak. That's why the song brings together Cuban rhythm, Afro-electronic energy, Afrobeats and Amapiano — music made to turn pain into movement. You'll hear two African expressions throughout the chorus: AYO — a Yoruba word associated with joy and happiness. YEBO — a Zulu word meaning “yes.” So when you hear: 🎶 “Ayo, ayo… I chose me! Yebo, yebo… back to me!” 🎶 you're hearing more than a hook. It's JOY. YES. FREEDOM. SELF-LOVE. And there's another message inside this song: “Cuba and Africa — One Soul.” Because sometimes the best way to leave pain behind isn't to cry one more time… It's to dance. 🔥 🎵 I CHOSE ME ✍️ Author/Composer: Roberto Amey – Amey Flow #IChoseMe #AmeyFlow #RobertoAmey #AfroCuban #Afrobeats #Amapiano #AfroElectronic #SelfLove #ChooseYourself #CubaAfrica #NewMusic
