Welcome to our LIVE COVERAGE of race one from Donington Park in Leicestershire, where we are back for our second visit of the year as we join the British GT Championship this weekend. Racing on the Grand Prix circuit, we’ll have rounds 11 & 12 of the TCR UK season today. It’s a double header race weekend where you can watch both races LIVE, here on the TCR UK YouTube channel. With 10 rounds complete, Touring car superstar and Macau race winner Max Hart leads the TCR UK points standings and will be looking to add to his score, following a win at Snetterton and a strong run of podiums. Harry Bloor set the stage alight last time out, taking not just his first win in TCR UK, but two wins on the same weekend. With the likes of Max Hart, Callum Newsham, Max Hall and young sensation Jenson O’Neill-Going all fighting for the drivers championship, we look forward to two exciting race this weekend. You’ll see the latest TCR models in action from brands such as Audi, CUPRA, Honda and Hyundai, offering variety as different drivers and teams go head to head for glory on the legendary Grand Prix layout. Launched in 2014, the TCR concept was introduced to level up touring car racing on a global scale. Featuring production saloons powered by 1.75 – 2-litre turbocharged engines, cars are built by manufacturer-approved constructors to comply with carefully controlled technical regulations and FIA homologation. TCR racing now takes place in more than 30 different countries.
