He woke beside a dying fire with no name, no past, and a wanted poster carrying his face.
A lone cowboy rides into a frontier town wearing an old leather coat, carrying a pistol, and haunted by a scar he cannot explain. A bartender recognizes him, while a mysterious woman reveals that his name is feared by the people who remember him. But the wanted poster tells a story he cannot remember — that he murdered a wealthy man and vanished before the posse arrived.
Following a river through the canyon, he discovers the abandoned cabin where his memories return. His family was murdered for their land, and he had fought back before taking the blame and disappearing. When he uncovers the banker behind the crime, the truth finally reaches the town. But the cowboy leaves before sunrise, choosing the open road over fame.

If you woke up with no memory and found your face on a wanted poster, would you ride back to discover the truth?
He woke beside a campfire in the snow
With no memory of where he'd been before
A leather coat, a pistol and a scar
Were all that told him who he might have been
He rode into the nearest western town
And every stranger stopped to watch him pass
The barkeep said, "I've seen you here before"
But couldn't tell him anything more
A woman came and whispered in his ear
"Your name is something people still fear"
She showed him an old wanted poster
With half his face beneath a fading border
The poster said he'd killed a wealthy man
And disappeared before the posse came
He couldn't tell if any word was true
So he rode west to find what he once knew
Following a river through the canyon walls
Until he found the place where memory calls
Cowboy without a name, lost beneath the sky
Cowboy without a name, searching for a why
Maybe the road knows where the past has gone
Ride until the truth becomes the dawn
Cowboy without a name, lost beneath the sky
Cowboy without a name, searching for a why
Maybe the road knows where the past has gone
Ride until the truth becomes the dawn
He found an abandoned cabin by the stream
And memories returned like pieces of a dream
He saw a brother lying by the door
And heard a woman crying from the floor
The wealthy man had ordered them to die
Because their land was worth a fortune in his eyes
The cowboy had fought them through the night
Then taken the blame and vanished from the sight
The wanted poster told a crooked tale
To make the killer look like he had failed
He found the banker hiding in the town
And dragged the truth before the people down
The old sheriff opened up the case
And saw the real murderer face to face
The cowboy left before the morning came
Choosing the road instead of taking fame
Cowboy without a name, lost beneath the sky
Cowboy without a name, searching for a why
Maybe the road knows where the past has gone
Ride until the truth becomes the dawn
Cowboy without a name, lost beneath the sky
Cowboy without a name, searching for a why
Maybe the road knows where the past has gone
Ride until the truth becomes the dawn
