Comparing two Cressi low volume masks: the classic Superocchio and the modern Nano

I have been using the by now ancient (but still available) Cressi Superocchio for several decades, only replacing it a few months ago with another low volume mask by Cressi, the modern Nano. How does the old mask compare to the new one, and why did I get them in the first place?
