Coventry2-5-15 Final.. 84 Tom Harris takes the win in the meeting Final after a masterclass drive, showing that you don't need to drill the opposition to win.. The race is brought under caution after 169 Billy Johnson rolled over onto his roof, in an incident involving 212 Danny Wainman and 293 Eliot Smith.. Heat 1 winner 451 Martin Spiers having his lead thwarted, leads the re-start.. Spiers holds onto to the lead for several laps, with East Coast Legend 325 Mark Sargent for company.. Very much travelling quickly is 21 Mark Gilbank and 318 Rob Speak, with Speak putting Gilbank into the turns 1-2 armaco to comtinue on his quest.. Not too far back, Harris too is on the move.. Sargent makes his move, and hits Spiers, but the move didn't work, and both drivers found themselves heading fencewards, and another caution was called.. On the re-start, 313 Karl Roberts leads, with Speak second, 445 Nigel Greem third, and Hitman Harris in fourth, and the evergreen Legend himself 53 John Lund in fifth.. Speak wastes no time in moving Roberts aside, likewise Harris does the same with Green, and finds the door wide open, and is upto second.. Now the race was on.. Could Harris catch or even pass Speak without being nailed into the armaco..? Harris tails Speak like a game of cat and mouse, before sweeping Speak aside and simply driving away and on to victory..Speak gives his all, but hasn't got the answers to the superior speed and grip of the 84 machine, and the gap grows bigger with each passing lap..
