Martin County Conservation Celebration - April 17, 2026

Martin County marked a major milestone in land conservation on Friday, April 17, during a special celebration at Timer Powers Park. Hosted by the County’s Environmental Resources Division, the event brought together the Board of County Commissioners, elected officials, partner agencies and the Martin County Forever program to recognize the protection of more than 2,000 acres of environmentally significant land. The ceremony highlighted the success of the voter approved Land Acquisition Sales Tax, which continues to preserve natural lands, protect wildlife habitat and maintain the character of natural Florida for future generations.
