Sonic Adventure 2 Unreal Engine 5 Remake - Sonic Adventure 2 Redux - Demo 4

Sonic Adventure 2 Redux submitted by JeliLiam. You can download it from here: https://gamejolt.com/games/SA2R/939490 It's Sonic Adventure 2 but in Unreal Engine 5... honestly, whatever hype this Sonic fangame project had back when Unreal Engine 5 was the newest, hottest thing on the block, kinda dwindled after a while, but I'm glad the developer is actually sticking to their guns and planning on finishing Sonic Adventure 2 Redux and to that I appreciate them for it... doesn't stop the "SEGA hire this man" jokes though lol. But, honestly this newest demo for SA2 Redux is pretty meaty (it even has a tutorial... that I kinda skipped because how overbearing it is...), most of the action stages, save for Crazy Gadget are finished and it even features a Knuckles stage, Pumpkin Hill. All that is left is the other treasure hunting stages, mech stages and it's pretty much complete. Graphically, with all settings set to max it can look quite beautiful most of the times... and other times it looks like a "SEGA hire this man" showcase, mainly because of the overuse of reflective surfaces. Gameplay-wise it's a mixed bag. I know Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is even at the best of times, kinda janky in the controls department, but SA2 Redux feels at times jankier than the original game, mainly when it comes to the rails... they feel noticeably butchered in here, to the point where one of my favorite stages in the original, Final Rush, feels noticeably more painful to play. It's not all bad though, beyond the wacky rails, everything else seems fun to play or at the very least competent. Maybe I've become too picky over the years, but it's at least worth checking out SA2 Redux for yourselves. Anyways, please enjoy the video. :) 0:00 Eggman and Shadow intro 2:40 F-3X Hot Shot Shadow Fight 5:03 Sonic City Escape Intro 6:18 City Escape 9:50 Radical Highway 13:42 F-6T Big Foot Sonic Fight 16:10 Pumpkin Hill 19:02 Metal Harbor 21:32 White Jungle 25:07 Sonic Vs Shadow Fight 28:07 Green Forest 32:43 Sky Rail 36:02 Pyramid Cave 40:11 Egg Golem Sonic Fight 42:44 Final Rush 48:05 Final Chase 52:22 Credits _____________________________________________________________________________ My Playlists: Sonic Fangames    • Sonic Fangames   Random Stuff    • Random stuff   Sonic Robo Blast 2    • Sonic Robo Blast 2   Transformers Devastation    • TRANSFORMERS: Devastation   Devil May Cry    • Devil May Cry   Racing Games    • Racing games   Sonic Mania    • Sonic Mods   Music Swaps:    • Gameplay Music Swaps   Music Mashups    • Плейлист   _______________________________________________________________________________ My Twitter:   / marius_rednblue   My Steam Page: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7... #sonic #sonicthehedgehog #sonicadventure2 #unrealengine5
