Strawberry Social 2026

The Indigenous Diabetes Health Circle (IDHC) gathered with staff and partners from Wednesday, June 17 to Thursday, June 18, 2026, for a two-day in-person gathering. This event invigorated IDHC relationships with partners and staff, expressing love and thanks while celebrating community connections. They were good days. Look at the smiling faces. Niawen and miigwech to everyone who joined us for our recent gathering. We walked, learned, and feasted together in the great outdoors at Burgoyne Woods Park. Thank you Allan Jamieson Sr., Grandmother Renee Thomas-Hill and Gail Whitlow for blessing us with teachings. Thank you to caterer Joleen General for blessing us and keeping us going with mouth watering food.
