Inclusive Education and Family Participation highlights the critical role families play in inclusive education and shares effective practices for engaging parents and building strong home–school partnerships to support learners. EASNIE Director João Costa opens the webinar, underlining that families are among the first and most important partners in every learner’s educational journey and describing EASNIE resources that support involving families in decision-making. Elizabeth Gosme, Director of COFACE Families Europe, sets family participation within a rights-based and community-wide approach to inclusion. She highlights the importance of co-ordinated multidisciplinary services and outlines practical approaches to family participation.
