Yorkshire Three Peaks! We Weren't Ready!

We Wasn't Ready for the Yorkshire Three Peaks After walking over 900 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End, you'd probably think I'd be more than ready for the Yorkshire Three Peaks. For my birthday weekend, Marc and I headed to the Yorkshire Dales to take on one of the UK's most famous hiking challenges: the Yorkshire Three Peaks. The challenge takes in Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, covering around 24 miles with more than 5,000 feet of elevation. It's a serious day of hiking, and one that would really test where my fitness is now. I've had a baby since I last attempted the challenge, and my fitness levels are nowhere near where they were when I walked the length of the UK.
