Pearl of the Pacific: Staying at Conrad Bora Bora | Overwater Villa, Snorkeling & Sunset

Travel dates: 2024.05.24 - 31 This trip was from the end of May 2024, and just rewatching it brings back the feeling of warm summer breezes and salty island air. We stayed at Conrad Bora Bora, in a Sunset View Overwater Villa — and yes, the “million-dollar sunset” was 100% worth it 🥹🌅 The resort offers tons of activities, including free use of canoes and paddleboards, which we loved. We also booked a snorkeling tour (I just picked the Viator bestseller) — and it was absolutely amazing. I would’ve tipped twice as much, no hesitation! The vibes were immaculate 💯 My husband can’t swim and was terrified at first, but the crew was so patient, staying by his side the entire time while he clung to his float ring 😂 We saw stingrays, reef sharks, and colorful tropical fish in the coral garden. The water was crystal clear — unbelievably beautiful 🐠✨ And the lunch on the private island was truly mind-blowing. Freshly caught tuna, papaya pudding, and desserts made from coconut and pumpkin — absolutely unforgettable! Now, food-wise… I have to be honest: Conrad’s restaurants were such a letdown 😩 We had high hopes for the Chinese restaurant, but it was barely edible for me 🙃 Definitely overpriced and underwhelming. That said, everything except the food was a 10/10. The whole resort felt peaceful, secluded, and exclusive — perfect for a honeymoon or quiet romantic escape. 💍💕 过了一年才想起来剪视频 😂 这个是去年5月底去的，隔着屏幕又回忆起了温暖夏日海风的味道～ 这次住的是conrad，选的房型是sunset view overwater villa，百万日落真的人间值得！Resort里面的活动也超级多，可以免费玩canoe和paddleboard。报名了一个浮潜项目，就是viator上的best seller，真的特别特别棒，心甘情愿给多少小费都不嫌多！整个体验vibe💯，我老公不会游泳怕得要命，他们船员超级耐心全程陪着他抓着他在游泳圈上。这个浮潜会看sting rays, 鲨鱼，还有珊瑚海好多色彩缤纷的小鱼，水底超级清澈 🐠✨ 然后他们的午餐超级无敌好吃到爆！！！新鲜打捞的tuna，papaya布丁，还有南瓜和椰子做的糕点，真的回味无穷👍 说到食物不得不吐槽一下conrad，真的有人觉得好吃吗。。我觉得实在是贵且难吃。冲着中餐厅去的，但我觉得只能勉强下咽 🙃 除了食物以外，bora bora的体验实在是💯！resort特别安静和exclusive，很适合度蜜月哟！
