She Discovered Why His Last Girlfriend Fled | Drama Thriller Movie| Based On True Story| Lifetime

A Wealthy Woman’s Husband Is Murdered—And Every Clue Points to the Former Lover He Left Behind. When businessman Daniel Mercer is found dead, police quickly focus on Claire Bennett, the woman he once had an affair with. The evidence seems almost too perfect. Witnesses place her near the scene. Motive is obvious. And someone has carefully arranged the case so that every trail leads straight to her. Attorney Michael Grant is not convinced. He begins uncovering contradictions that suggest the real killer knew exactly how to manipulate the investigation. Then Michael creates another problem for himself. After clashing with the judge, he is jailed for contempt of court—leaving his client in even greater danger while the murderer remains free. Now Michael must keep fighting the case from behind bars and prove that the obvious suspect was chosen for a reason. A classic mystery about jealousy, deception, and a lawyer trying to expose the one person who planned the perfect frame-up.
