Exceedingly Scarce ZENITH Model #T545 45 RPM Record Player/AM Radio Licensed By RCA

Here's a VERY hard to find item! This was licensed by RCA and made the 27th week of 1954. A picker found this for me at a tag sale of all places. The funny thing is that the seller threw the original box out to the trash the day before the tag sale....ARGHHH! It had been found in the original box at the bottom of a closet where it sat for nearly 50 years until the house was being sold and it was then discovered. It's in damn near new condx but still, like all old players, needed to be restored. It was a sincere pleasure to know I was the first to crack this open since it was newly bought - no buggered screws, original tubes, etc. Even the labels on the bottom of the player were intact & mint!! This is a most desirable player that's rarely seen and not usually in this condx!! The radio/amp has had ALL caps replaced, RP-190 mech fully restored w/new rubber all the way around, new Sonotone 52T ceramic stereo cartridge bridged for mono and just quickly cleaned up w/Windex. This is just a superb example of a 50's time capsule record player with American craftsmanship at its best. I sincerely hope you enjoyed another fabulous piece of 50's history. Be sure to check often as I still have lots more to put up!
