ਜਲੰਧਰ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਬੰਦ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਅਸਰ, ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੰਦ, ਚੱਪੇ-ਚੱਪੇ 'ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੈਨਾਤ ਅੱਜ SC ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਬੰਦ ਦੀ ਕਾਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਡਾ. ਅੰਬੇਦਕਰ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਦੇ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ SC ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਲੰਧਰ 'ਚ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਬੰਦ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਬੰਦ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਜਦਕਿ ਸਕੂਲ, ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ। SC ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੰਦ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ ਜਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ 'ਚ ਡਾ. ਅੰਬੇਦਕਰ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।ਦੱਸ ਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ SC ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ 'ਚ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ ਜਾਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। #News18Punjab #JalandharBandh #PunjabNews #AmbedkarStatue #SCCommunity #PunjabProtest #JalandharNews #LudhianaNews #PunjabUpdates #BreakingNews #PunjabPolitics #DalitProtest #News18Punjab A shutdown call has been given by the SC community in Jalandhar today. The SC community is protesting over the alleged insult to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's statue. Jalandhar will remain closed from 9 AM to 5 PM. During this period, markets across the city will remain closed, while schools, colleges, and medical shops will remain open. The SC community has clarified that no national highway will be blocked during the shutdown. Apart from Jalandhar, protests are also being held in Hoshiarpur over the desecration of Dr. Ambedkar's statue in Ludhiana.
