Squeezing More Life Out of Our Old Roof - Moss Removal, Ridge Cap Repair & Treatment

Our roof is old, covered in moss, and due for a full replacement. But before we spend thousands on a new one, we're doing everything we can to extend its life. In this video, I walk through the full process: removing years of built-up moss, replacing damaged ridge cap, and applying a treatment to help prevent regrowth. If you have an aging roof and are not ready to replace it, this video covers practical, DIY-friendly steps that can buy you more time before that big expense. This is part of our ongoing series following the renovation of our West Coast Canada property, new episodes drop regularly, so subscribe if you want to follow along with the full journey (foundation repairs, garden builds, and more coming soon). 📍 Follow the full renovation journey: ‪@BairdNecessities‬ #RoofMaintenance #DIYRoofRepair #MossRemoval #RidgeCap #HomeRenovation
